At the place of the roaring waters,

A girl who rode the waves into my heart,
Smooth and collected,
Beautiful and wild.
I found a girl.
At the base of my every thought,
I found a girl.
In my dreams, as I sleep,
In my head when I wake,
I found a girl.
In the bosom of my heart,
The empty and deserted place,
In my most forbidden cave,
I found a girl.
Black and beautiful,
Ravishing and entrancing.
Pretty and smart,
Beauty with brains.
The one I dreamt of,
The one I met,
The one I found,
The one I love.
I love a girl
And though it scares me,
It’s also exciting.
I love a girl
That weaved through my heart’s defenses
And laid to waste all my hard guy pretenses.
I love a girl
That is not ashamed to be imperfect,
That is flawed but content.
A girl that is ordinary yet special,
Natural, but in my eyes, magical.
A girl in whom my heart delights,
I’m in love with a girl
That reminded me of how beautiful it is to once again be in love’s light.
