Five new cases of the COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 51.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed two of the cases are in the FCT, two are in Lagos, while one is in Rivers State.
Stating on its official twitter account:
โOf the new six cases reported on March 25, two are in Lagos State, one is in Osun State, one in Rivers State and two are in the Federal Capital Territory.
โAll the new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.
โThree are returning travelers into Nigeria and two are close contacts of a confirmed case. As of 11:25 pm on the 25th of March, there are 51 confirmed cases โ two discharged and one death.โ
