The Kwara State Government has confirmed 8 new cases on the 7th of May, 2020. This came in the form of the usual update on its official Twitter handle.
Barely into the 4th of May -into the relaxation of lockdown -, mixed news followed when the Kwara State Government announced 3 and 2 new cases successively, totaling 5 and thereafter recording 6 discharges.

Having done 666 tests across the state and declaring Offa city COVID19 free, these 8 new cases have yet to be detailed to a particular LGA of the state.
There are now a total of 41 confirmed cases, while 16 are active, 8 discharged and 0 deaths recorded.
