The Kwara State University has decided to call back its students from their various industries. In a letter to its students below, the school gives a full info on the subject matter
“Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and rapid spread across Nigeria, SIWES 2020 is hereby suspended for one month in the first instance. All KWASU students undertaking their SIWES are therefore instructed to go home for health and safety reasons. This suspension is with immediate effect. However, students are to duly notify their industrial based supervisor(s) of this development.
Consequently, 2020 SIWES programme which ought to end in July will now end in August, 2020. All SIWES students are hereby advised to adhere strictly to the precautionary measures announced by relevant health authorities such as WHO, NCDC and the Federal Ministry of Health.
