Nigerian Governors have rejected store up of COVID-19 palliatives.
The governors reject this in response to the looting of diverse warehouses all over the country after the End SARS peaceful protest many people from different states break into different storehouse. CACOVID (Coalition Against COVID-19) donated most of the items
The body comprises business tycoon and companies.
At the crucial stage of the COVID-19, these individuals supplied funds and used the same to acquire palliatives to assist both federal and state government.
The governors say that the items were not hidden as widely alleged, the governors made this known on Monday .
Theirplace was made known in a statement by Abdulrazaq Bello-Barkindo, spokesman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
Mr Bello-Barkindo begged with members of the public to cease from spreading rumours. Bello-Barkindo repeated that palliatives found in warehouses broken into in Lagos and some other states were kept for members of the society especially vulnerable citizens.
โUntil mid-October, when the NGF had its last meeting, up to ten States had not participated in the flag-off ceremonies for the distribution of palliatives in their States. This was because the items meant for distribution in these states had not been completely received from CACOVID.
