I have had friends, families who lost their loved ones to the cruel hands of death
I have always wondered what they felt
Always wondered why they cry so much
Wondered the gloomy faces
Wondered the pain
Wondered if ever the pain ever goes away
They said, “Time heals”
Then I lost YOU
Then I felt the pain
Felt the grieve
Felt the sadness
Felt the gloom
My tears could make an ocean
My screams could cause an earthquake
My raking sobs could bring down a storey building
But none woke you up not even a stir
None put breath into your still cold body
Your face ever so peaceful
Never to be seen again
Only living in my memories
Only living in my distorted dreams
Years passed, your memories still fresh
Still lingers around the house
I Waited patiently for “Time to heal”
Looks like Time forgot me
Maybe you just went on a journey
“A journey of the unknown”
Only wishing you could be here with us
But, hey, Angel!!
We remember you with so many smiles and laughter now though your thoughts linger with us.
We miss YOU dearly
So, I decided to write YOU
Yeahhh…
And I will be writing more cos you have missed a whole lot since you leftโฆ

Brillant article
I love this..Brings back memories
I love the choice of words ,I must say ,its contemporary and paints a rather graphic picture, which tends to cary one along effortlessly
Honestly I’m impressed at such simplicity but yet such vividity put together, It is note worthy. The way it moves the imagination makes it so relatable.
Big ups to this writer ,your ability to fuse such pictorial value in such simple execution is commendable
Keep it up
