Revenge mission in Unilorin league week 7

Zeus FC defeated Marine by 2-1 to whom they loss to with the same margin in the first leg (Match day 5),thanks to goals from Ajumesi and Fash in 68th minutes to cancelled out Adeyemi who had earlier leveled the scores in 64th minutes.

Marine sits second on the log in group A with a further points-adrift of leaders.

H-High Fc quench the fire in Blazing stars as they took thier pound of flesh thrashing Blazing stars Fc by three goals to nil, Dembemle delivered a powerful strike to the top of corner to give H-High the lead in 12th minutes ,in the stroke of half time,Ajao doubles the champions lead with an electrifying goal.

Zico Jr won scored the third from the spot, Coach MKO was delighted with his team performance as he said the win “serve as revenge for them”

Goals from Adekunle and Collins (one each) ensure Real Eagles move to third place on the log in group B,with just a points behind leaders Jad FC, though late goal from Ehmjay gave City boys a consolation but unable to get the equaliser as they struggle score.

City boys also had captain Mido sent off in the latter stages of the match

The biggest match of week 7 ended in “no Victor, no Vanquish” , Jad FC forcing Skillz to a 2-2 draw.

Skillz Fc started the match on a brightful note taking a 1-0 lead through Oma after just three minutes of kick off, Meanwhile Skillz Fc responded well through Veekee’s Brilliant Brace in Eighteenth and thirty-seventh minutes, three minutes later, Goodwin won himself a penalty which he calmly took with his left foot beating the goalie to his near right-hand side.

James Afolayan was left with mixed reaction as he said his team “performance was average” but optimistic his (my) “team will finish top of the group because we have no tough matches left to play”

Coach Oluwatosin (Coach Skillz) expressed dissatisfaction with the officiating as he said his team deserve to be awarded a penalty for a foul on his captain, he also expressed confidence his team will win the league.

Earlier on Friday Aztec Fc defeated Muqqy Fc by 2-1

H-High Fc extended their lead at the summit of the log to 8 points clear off Second place team.

Marine Fc, H-High Fc, and Real Eagles all recorded win over their opponents to whom they loss to in the first leg.

Aztec Fc record first win of the season after Seven matches.

Muqqy Fc the only team yet to win a match since the start of the season.

Leeds Fc and All Stars Fc in fifth and sixth place respectively face each other on Wednesday in group A to complete week 7 match fixtures.

All Stars face the possibility of getting relegated from group A at the end of the season with just one draw,one win though with a match in hand against Leeds Fc.

The league will go on break after the completion of Match day 7 Fixtures which is between Leeds Fc and All Stars Fc and will be played on Wednesday.

The reason is to allow students who to focus more on their C.A test and upcoming Examinations,therefore the league shall resume next Semester.
