Earlier this year, when the COVID-19 pandemic attacked the world, churches, mosques, and every other activity that involves a large crowd of people were banned and suspended, to reduce the spread of the virus. During this lockdown, churches are having their services online, via the internet while some distributed their members into groups of 20 since the Government order allowed it.
But amazingly, the ban on churches and mosques was lifted on the 27 of May 2020, although, some safety precautions should be followed which includes, the washing of hand before entering the sanctuary, etc.
Today being Sunday, churches in Ondo state gathered and praised their God for allowing them to overcome the evil of the virus, even though it is still on ground. They shouted and danced to their God saying โhallelujah to our God in the highest.โ
The general overseer of House of grace and power church for all nations ministry โ pastor olayide Samuelโ, out of his grateful heart, he rejoiced and prayed for the Government saying โ God is going to look down from heaven and bless the government of Nigeria for reopening and lifting the ban on churchesโ. He also urged his members to praise and adore God for his mercy that has kept all the church members alive and safe all the days of the lockdown.
