Following the performances of managers in the premier league for 2019/20 season so far, the premier league managers have been ranked according to their success In the league’s matches played so far for this season.
- Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
Frank has been amazing and tactical this season following a victory over Tottenham in their home and away game this season with a 0-2 away win and 2-1 home win. With only one signing (not of the boss choosing) Chelsea has (a) establish themselves in the top four and (b) qualified for the next phase of the champions league. The performance has been graded a very good of a half-season.
Although the boss may have been aided by catastrophes at Manchester and Chelsea, he has enjoyed his victories: the repaid faith of Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount, the re-emergence of Willian, the unification of the match-going Chelsea support. Points wise, Chelsea’s Lampard I still behind the former coach sarri in the aspect of performances but sarri has Eden hazard during his contract.
- Maurizio Sarri (Chelsea)
Sarri moved Chelsea from the 10th position in the league and secured the third spot in the table, thanks to a late run of just two defeats in 12 games. Add in an actual trophy and another cup final defeat on penalties and you would have concluded that 2019 went pretty well for sarri at Stamford Bridge.
Although, he was sacked as the fans and owner s turned against him and his brand, but accepted Juventus’ offer and continued his good tactics and pattern of coaching.
- Sean Dyche (Burnley)
As 2018 became 2019, Burnley was in the premier league relegation places. As 2019 edges into 2020, Burnley is secure in the premier league’s midriff, having taken point than either Everton or West ham in this calendar year, what an amazing performance.
- Roy Hodgson (crystal palace)
So far in 2019, Hodgson’s crystal palace has added more points than Tottenham. Let that sink for a second. Now come to think of it, for a team without any semblance of a prolific goalscorer to build a positive goal difference over twelve months is surprising. Although, they aren’t a giant team they make things happen and they are capable of pulling off a sexy result. Palace took victory over wolves, Leicester City, Arsenal, and Manchester united.
- Steve Bruce (Newcastle United)
He revived Newcastle from relegation for about four years.
- Nuno Espirito Santos (Wolves)
Wolve’s performance in the season has been surprising. Even after starting the season with a run of six winless matches, nobody thought that this wolves team under this manager can pose any threat. Later during the matches, wolves started disturbing even the so-called top six teams in the league then moved to the Europa League. Following the club’s striker transformation ‘Adama Traore’, made us realize the tactical work of the coach, posing threat to the top six premier league teams likes of Manchester united and city, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, etc.
- Brendan Rodgers (Leicester City)
We wondered in March whether Brendan Rodgers could find sanctuary for himself at Leicester City, where he could concentrate on coaching footballers rather than chasing legends. He took over a drifting mid-table club with an enviable set of young players and he has turned them into a team 11 points clear of fifth place and seemingly bound for return to the champions league. With the boss’ tactics, Leicester is now one of the teams on fire in the premier league.
- Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)
Pep is the winner of all 2019’s domestic trophies. Ever since he arrived at the club, it has become a more dangerous team in the league with very good players like Aguero, De bruyne, sterling, etc.
The manager has defeated the league’s top teams this season. Notwithstanding, pep is judged and given this position because of his last two years performance, this year, pep has shown his flaws, he over- thought and lost the champions league quarter-final clash against poor Tottenham side in the spring, and then left his side exposed against Liverpool and United this season.
- Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)
The most Premier League points of 2019. The champions of both Europe and the World. Klopp’s performance since his arrival at Liverpool has been on fire, has he won both the champions league and the super cup following a 3 nil comeback against the Spanish giants Barcelona.
- Chris Wilder (Sheffield United)
Sheffield United manager started the year in the sixth place in the championship; he ends it fifth place in the premier league. Sounds unbelievable, pure sorcery.
