The presence of Bruce Oliver from the U.K to watch Unilorin League matches spark up a fierce battle in the Unilorin league which enters week 7.

On Friday, Aztec FC having lost five of their six previous league matches recorded a memorable 2-1 win over fellow newly promoted Muqqy  FC thanks to Dapo late Strike.

Having shared the spoils between each other in the first leg of this same tie, Aztec FC took the early lead through Pascal, scoring in his first appearance for Aztec FC, the goal, which Oliver Bruce from England in an interview after the match described as a “real classic goal” he also as said that “the best team won”.

Muqqy FC drew level before half time as both teams had a scrappy midfield but in the end, it was Aztec who had the cause to celebrate when Dapo fires in a shot which took a deflection to score for Aztec FC.

Muqqy FC had some chances to draw level but couldn’t convert any of the chances created.

In a separate interview after the Match, Coach Odunayo of Aztec FC who was in real tears was full of praises for his side.

“I am very very excited, I can’t explain how happy I am”

“I am so excited that we won” ‘The team played really well beyond my expectations. “

When asked if he is worried, his team may get relegated, Odunayo said “Right now I am not thinking of relegation because we (Aztec is) already in the league come next season.

Despite the defeat of Aztec, Coach of Muqqy FC also expresses confidence that his team will not be relegated, he said he is working hard to add one or two players to his team for a better result, just as he called on the referees to be fair in discharging their duties.

Aztec FC after that win are fifth on the log with four points. Meanwhile, Muqqy FC slip to sixth place after the loss with just one point from six matches, Muqqy FC has a match in hand with Skillz FC.
