Head of Media and Publicity of FC ZEUS, Mr. Jude Oni has made it abundantly clear that the Club has reached advanced stages of its negotiation with JAD FC for the transfer of JAD FC’s skipper, Ayeni Joshua.

In his words: “Ayeni did not feature in the 2-2 draw against Skillz FC for Jad. Why do you think that happened?
The hierarchy of FC ZEUS has appealed to JAD FC to ensure that he doesn’t get injured, or else the deal breaks down. In such an intense game as that, it was only logical thinking to keep him out until an agreement is made.”

Club CEO/Founder, Mr. Peters, Ayobami Emmanuel had this to say:

“It is no longer news that we’ve made contact with JAD FC concerning the transfer. But as of now, Joshua is a JAD FC player. I will not make any other statement concerning this transfer until something tangible results from it.”

Sources in the Club have said that a few add-ons in the contract is the only reason it has not been announced yet; but are expecting it to be soon.

The deal is also believed to be speeding up as the player was encouraged to accept the offer by the School team’s Coach, who believes it’s a “once in a lifetime” offer.
