What is photography?
Photography is an art of drawing with light; this is a simple definition of photography. Photography is the craftsmanship, application, and routine with regards to making tough pictures by chronicle light or other electromagnetic radiation.
The word photography was created from the Greek roots ‘photos’ which means light and ‘graphe’ which means drawing. Together the meaning is ‘drawing with light’.
A photographer is a person who makes photographs with a digital or film camera. Photographers create memories and make special moments unforgettable. Though not entirely categorical, we have talented or born photographers and we have the made photographers.
Talented or born photographers are those who naturally knows the skill of photography without learning. This category of photographers may have to help their talents by learning more especially for anyone who wants to be a professional. The made photographers are those who developed an interest in photography and learns it.
We have so many subjects in photography. Some of them include: street photography, documentary photography, fashion photography, wedding photography, war photography, photojournalism, aviation photography, baby photography, landscape, still life, portraiture, and the list is endless. These and more are fields any photographer or aspiring photographer can explore.
